H-fit Assessment

The most comprehensive total body assessment.

H-FIT (Human Functional Index Testing) is the gold standard of assessing total body health and performance.

Each H-FIT Assessment is administered by our staff of Doctors of Physical Therapy and Personal Trainers with Master's Degrees or Doctorates in Exercise Science.

H-FIT consists of three parts:

  1. Structural Integrity: An assessment that includes the Functional Movement Screen (FMS), the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), a joint-by-joint Orthopedic Analysis, and both Postural and Orthopedic Screens using live state-of-the-art joint-sensing technology.
  2. Metabolic Profile: An assessment using clinical-grade lab equipment of cardiopulmonary function (VO2 Max and Anaerobic Threshold); body fat testing and lean mass testing (Advanced Medical 8-point Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis), and metabolism testing and calorie expenditure (Resting Metabolic Rate or “RMR”).
  3. Movement Capacity: A loaded and unloaded analysis of the body’s primal movement and gross motor patterns, including circa-maximal testing when appropriate, as well as a clinical Gait Analysis, which analyzes walking and running mechanics.

The H-FIT report is a detailed “executive physical” of physical fitness, providing clear insight into quality and competency of physiological and mechanical function, as well as an actionable plan to achieve any body-related or health-related goal.
